The most conservative estimates report 100,000 individuals have sent in letters and/or petitions to the governor’s office.

Abbott to veto SB3, including the Texas Hemp Business Council, who is believed to have been personally responsible for delivering 5,000 letters and a petition with 120,000 signatures calling for a veto. Along with state-wide organizations like Texas Hemp Business Council and the Texas Cannabis Policy Center, business owners in the state’s capital are also doing their part to bring about a veto of this legislation.
