Pvolve Fitness Franchise Moves into Austin with Future Studios

Pvolve Fitness Set to Open Four Studios in Austin

Fitness enthusiasts in Austin can look forward to a new dynamic way of working out as Pvolve, a functional fitness company, has announced plans to open four new studios in the city, starting with a downtown location this winter.

Function Fitness for Daily Life

Functional fitness is a form of exercise designed to train the body to handle real-life situations. Marci Bain, the woman heading up the expansion of Pvolve into Austin, defines it as a routine that uses specific movements mimicking daily physical activities.

“A lot of people ask, ‘Well what is functional fitness?’” Marci said. “It just means that you use specific movements in your workout that mirror the kind of activities that you encounter in daily life.”

Unique Fitness Equipment and Techniques

Pvolve’s fitness approach involves patented resistance-based equipment and techniques to help alleviate pressure on joints and focus it on muscles. Their product line includes the P. ball, which targets the thigh, gluteal, and core muscles, and the P. band that works on the arm, back, and shoulder muscles. The focus of Pvolve’s workouts is to train the body to function the way it is naturally designed to move.

Keeping Fitness Sustainable

What makes Pvolve’s workouts uniquely motivating, according to Marci, is that the routines are sustainable and personalized. She explained that the intensity is not so high so as to counteract the exercise benefits, and the workout you’re doing in your early 20s can adapt and change as you reach your 50s. The workouts are scalable to individuals’ fitness levels and goals, making the environment accepting and motivating.

Future Fitness Studios in Austin

Marci and her franchise team are looking forward to introducing Austin residents to Pvolve’s unique fitness techniques and philosophy. They plan to open the first Pvolve studio in downtown Austin this winter, and are currently looking at areas in Westlake, Bee Cave, and North Austin for other locations.

“What you can do in your early 20s in a workout you’re probably not going to be able to do in your early 50s,” Marci said. “Everybody has different reasons and different goals for doing their workouts, and I think it’s just such an accepting environment and it’s so motivating.”

Conclusion

Austin residents can look forward to a new form of fitness that adapts to their daily movements and fitness goals. With four studios set to open, Pvolve is certainly set to make an impact in Austin’s fitness scene.
