La La Land Kind Café Launches Keith Lee Latte for Flood Relief

AUSTIN, Texas – La La Land Kind Café has launched a new initiative to assist Texas flood relief efforts with the introduction of the Keith Lee Latte. This iced matcha latte, developed in collaboration with TikTok food critic Keith Lee, aims to generate funds for those affected by the severe flooding that has impacted Central Texas.

Sales of the Keith Lee Latte will support flood recovery efforts in Kerr County until July 27, with all proceeds being donated to assist in the restoration of communities affected by the catastrophic flooding earlier this month. This effort follows intense rainfall over the Fourth of July weekend, which resulted in at least 132 fatalities, including 27 young campers and counselors from a summer camp.

In addition, over 100 individuals remain missing, with ongoing search and rescue operations faced with the challenges of persistent flood threats in the region. The Keith Lee Latte is crafted using ceremonial grade matcha, a proprietary syrup, and topped with a whipped matcha cloud, a whole strawberry, and additional matcha powder, providing a unique flavor while contributing to a critical cause.

The establishment, which originated in Dallas, Texas, has expanded beyond its home state, now operating multiple locations across Texas, California, and a branch in Nashville, Tennessee. The La La Land foundation, associated with the café, focuses on supporting and providing opportunities for foster youth through various charitable initiatives.

The flooding notably affected the Camp Mystic girls’ summer camp, where many of the confirmed casualties were reported.
