Located at 13729 Research Blvd in Austin, Juicy Claws Seafood Bar and Grill is a Cajun/Asian fusion restaurant that serves everything from crab boils to Tom Yum. Citing financial issues and restrictive time constraints due to his other projects, owner Han Tran has decided to put Juicy Claws up for sale.

Juicy Claws is known in the NW Austin area for its amazing food, fully-stocked bar, inviting ambience and wild Karaoke nights. It sits kitty-cornered in the plaza adjacent to the Southwest Theater, making for a great date night destination. Happy Hours and specials on king crab, fresh oysters, fried seafood platters, signature wings, and appetizers pepper their menu, leaving mouths watering from the descriptions, alone. Despite all this, Juicy Claws may be no more in the near future.

“I just don’t have the time anymore”, explains Han Tran, owner of Juicy Claws. “I’m in construction, also. I am very busy with my other projects, and that’s taking away from my time in the restaurant, so we are not doing well. I’m just going to sell.”

For now, Han Tran is leaving the restaurant business behind to focus on his construction projects and there is no indication as to whether or not the new owner will continue the Juicy Claws brand or proceed with a new concept altogether. We do know that the transition will be finalized by the end of this year.
