Field Guide Festival 2025: A Tasty Affair Coming to Austin!

Attention all food lovers! Austin is gearing up for one of the most exciting events of the year! The Field Guide Festival, now in its fourth year, is set to take place from April 25-27, 2025. It’s a fabulous three-day celebration that highlights the very best of local food right in the heart of Texas.

Connecting People and Palates

This lively festival is all about connecting guests with local farms, talented chefs, and skilled food producers. It’s a wonderful opportunity for attendees to explore the vibrant food scene that Austin has to offer. What’s even better? Your ticket purchase actually helps out those in need, as proceeds from the festival will benefit the Central Texas Food Bank. Talk about a delicious way to give back!

Co-founder Lindsey Sokol expressed that the theme for 2025 isn’t just about growth, but about giving a much-deserved spotlight to the local food system. This year, there are even more exciting events planned, including the debut of the Field Guide Symposium.

Ticket Time!

If you’re ready to grab your tickets, be aware that they are sold separately for various events, with adult options priced between $30 and $200. Don’t worry; minors can join in on the fun at a discounted price or, depending on their age, even for free!

A Delicious Lineup!

The festivities kick off on April 25 with the sensational Land to Larder Dinner at the charming Boggy Creek Farm. Guests can anticipate a tantalizing four-course meal prepared by various chefs collaborating with local farmers. This delicious dinner sets the perfect tone for what’s to come!

The following day, Saturday, the festival will roll out the symposium, focusing on key themes like sustainability and community engagement. Guests will have the chance to engage with farmers and chefs, diving deep into what makes the local food scene so special.

The main event happens on Sunday, where attendees will be treated to a feast featuring **65 local chefs and farmers**. They will present an array of scrumptious small plates at Fiesta Gardens. As if that wasn’t enough, there will be mouthwatering activities such as a taco omakase, a pizza happy hour, and live fire cooking demonstrations.

For those looking to elevate their experience, VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive access to special features throughout the festival. It’s all about celebrating, partying, and building connections with the amazing local community.

Support for Local Professions

Since its inception in 2021, the Field Guide Festival has invested over $102,676 into local products and expertise, making a significant impact in the community. This year, Chef Fiore Tedesco is among those emphasizing the importance of local farmers and the unique connection chefs have with them. It’s an amazing network that fuels the delicious food we enjoy.

One exciting addition to the festival is the spotlight on El Tigre Coffee Roasters, who recently started operations in San Antonio. Their fresh approach to coffee is making waves in the community, and attendees can look forward to discussions on new food concepts planned for San Antonio’s El Tigre.

Don’t Miss the Action!

This festival aims to uplift and recognize the incredible efforts of chefs, farmers, and community organizations in the Central Texas area. Expect discussions led by notable figures in sustainable agriculture and food systems that will surely inspire attendees.

So, mark your calendars and prepare your taste buds, because the Field Guide Festival 2025 is shaping up to be a culinary adventure you won’t want to miss!
